Download & Install Mozilla Firefox for Mac:
- Go to the official download page of Firefox, and download firefox for mac
- Locate the downloaded file that should mostly be in your download folder, double-click the downloaded file to mount the disk image or .dmg file
- A window appears prompting you to drag firefox download for mac to the applications folder
- Open Firefox*.dmg and drag “Firefox.app” to “Applications” folder.
- Launch the firefox from the applications folder, When you open firefox, you can get a warning saying “Firefox is an application downloaded from the internet, are you sure you want to open it?”, ignore the warning and click on open.

My apologies, iTunes. Also, I found that the sluggish iTunes isn't nearly the resource hog I thought it was. After watching the Activity Monitor for a while this morning, I see that generally takes up more CPU resources and more than triple the memory resources. Perhaps it's time for me to abandon Firefox and use Chrome exclusively.
